DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Jan. 13 (SMM) – Indonesia introduced new rules on January 12 that the country will allow exports of nickel ore under certain conditions, latest news reported.
In accordance with the new regulations, nickel miners should dedicate 30 percent of their smelter capacity to process low-grade ore (Ni 1.7% below), and the remaining low-grade ore will be allowed to be exported.
Bauxite exports will be also eased in the new rules.
