SHFE 1612 zinc opened at RMB 18,100/mt last evening, and closed at RMB 18,130/mt, down RMB 75/mt. Trading volumes were 196,000 lots, and positions fell 822 to 214,000.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 24 (SMM) – SHFE 1612 zinc opened at RMB 18,100/mt last evening, and closed at RMB 18,130/mt, down RMB 75/mt. Trading volumes were 196,000 lots, and positions fell 822 to 214,000.

SHFE 1612 zinc rose after dipping to RMB 18,100/mt today, and rose to RMB 18.140/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1612 zinc climbed to RMB 18,200/mt and closed at RMB 18,175/mt, down RMB 30/mt. Trading volumes increased 72,000 to 362,000 lots, and positions decreased 1,444 to 214,000.
