SHFE 1612 zinc opened at RMB 18,200/mt last evening, and closed flat at RMB 18,220/mt. Trading volumes were 186,000 lots, and positions grew 5,396 to 219,000.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 21 (SMM) – SHFE 1612 zinc opened at RMB 18,200/mt last evening, and closed flat at RMB 18,220/mt. Trading volumes were 186,000 lots, and positions grew 5,396 to 219,000.

SHFE 1612 zinc hovered around RMB 18,200/mt after opening today, and rose to RMB 18,250/mt, but erased early gains in the afternoon, and closed at RMB 18,200/mt, down RMB 20/mt. Trading volumes decreased 75,000 to 290,000 lots, and positions decreased 3,668 to 215,000.
